About

About Leading Edge Therapy

Evidence-based therapy is therapy that has been proven to work by science. Too often these highly effective Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) methods are not widespread or easily accessible to people who need them. Leading Edge Therapy was created to spread access to these highly effective treatments. We are passionate about bringing the best scientific evidence and compassionate care into our psychological practice and creating an easy hassle-free way to access it.

Our passion is to be there for you throughout the journey and help you achieve results that can be measured. Leading Edge Therapy has a strong commitment to create a safe, private, and nonjudgmental space for you to build trust with your therapist.

Hi, I’m Dr. Jamie Loor, Licensed Psychologist.

Passion for Evidence-Based Therapy

I’m deeply passionate about providing evidence-based psychological treatments that empower individuals to achieve measurable life improvements. I am dedicated to bringing the best scientific evidence into treatments and making them accessible.

I founded Leading Edge Therapy after witnessing the transformative impact of evidence-based therapy on people’s lives and realizing that it was not widely available. I am especially dedicated to empowering individuals with trauma histories, guiding them to overcome painful symptoms, and reclaim control over their lives. My passion also extends to supporting individuals in making lasting health behavior changes, such as breaking free from destructive eating patterns.

Expertise and Advocacy

I have undergone national clinical PTSD training at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, served as a clinician on multiple NIH and nationally funded studies, published over 17 peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters, and have been a speaker at national conferences. Furthermore, I actively advocate for innovative mental health care within national and state psychological organizations.

Outside of work

Originally from Missouri, I enjoy outdoor activities with my family, including my daughter and dog. I love practicing yoga and finding ways to incorporate mindfulness into my daily life.
