PTSD/Trauma Therapy

Whatever the reason, we are so glad you are here.

Read on to see how Leading Edge’s trauma therapy services can help you.

After a traumatic experience, it’s common for our reactions to try to protect us by avoiding reminders, keeping us safe and away from harm. However, for those with PTSD, these responses are no longer helpful and instead prevent you from living the life you want to live. Evidence-based therapy gives you the skills and support to take back control over your life.

PTSD can be effectively treated with a proven trauma therapy program based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which comprises 12 weekly sessions.

Leading Edge brings this treatment to your fingertips and delivers it in a personalized and caring manner. Dr. Jamie Loor has extensive experience delivering this therapy to a wide range of patients including in the VA setting and is passionate about putting this service a few clicks away from people needing to access it promptly.

One therapy we use is called Cognitive Processing Therapy, or CPT, to learn more please see video below.

You may learn more by listening to someone’s CPT journey firsthand in a podcast episode of This American Life: Ten Sessions for insights into the benefits of the therapy.

Another PTSD therapy we use is called Prolonged Exposure, or PE, to learn more please see video below
